The American Law and Economics Review

The American Law and Economics Review, the official scholarly journal of the American Law and Economics Association, is a refereed journal and has been published semi-annually by Oxford University Press since the Fall of 1999. Members of the Association receive the Review as a benefit of payment of annual dues.

In order to submit an article to the Review, you must be a current member of the Association. Thus, if you are not now a paid member of the Association and wish to submit an article, you should visit our site (www.amlecon.org) and become a member/pay your dues. Submissions must be original unpublished works that will not be pending review at any other journal while under consideration at the Review.

The editors of the Review will consider surveys and book reviews as well as standard articles concerning law and economics, broadly defined. The editors are interested in publishing high-quality empirical articles as well as theoretical articles. The editors encourage authors to write in a way that will make their work accessible to the full range of membership of the Association.
